The Construction Process
1. Pre-Construction Meeting
This will entail several meetings in which we will make redline changes to the plans that the Architect will make before issuing the final construction set.
2. Construction Start
Site Work; Lot Clearing; Temporary Drive; Erosion Control; Pad Prep; Foundation; Set Forms/Trenching; Plumbing Rough-In; Slab Steel; Electric Ufer/Island/Temp Pole; Complete Forms; Pour Slab; Framing; Windows/Doors; Zip Sheathing and Decking.
3. Mechanicals, Masonry & Roof
Plumbing Top-Out
HVAC RoughElectrical Rough; Fireplace; Low Voltage Rough (Phone, TV, Data, Stereo and Security); Exterior Paint; Roof; Masonry/Stucco; Shower/Tub Niche Locations.
4. Insulation & Drywall
Spray Foam Insulation; Hang Drywall; Tape, Bed, Float; Texture.
5. Interior Finish
Install Wood Floors (if applicable); Cabinet Install; Interior Doors and Trim 1; Countertops; Tub and Shower Surrounds/Tile Floors/Backsplashes/Fireplace Surrounds; Interior Paint 1; Glass Shower Doors and Mirrors; Interior Trim 2.
6. Mechanical Trim & Appliances
Plumbing Fixtures and Locations; Electrical Fixtures and Locations; HVAC Final; Appliances; Carpet; Interior Paint 2; Concrete Flatwork/Steps; Grade; Landscaping.
7. Punch Out
Punch Out and Homeowner Walk Through with Blue Tape; Scheduled Completion Date.
8. Closing
Review Completion of Punch List and Final Walk Through; Review Any Incomplete Items; Warranty Process; Keys!
